Accessibility Testing Job Description:
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
● 2+ years of experience in Web/Mobile accessibility testing.
● 2+ years of experience across Mobile or Web application (Functional+UI) testing.
● Detailed knowledge on WCAG 2.0 AA standard
● Detailed knowledge on ARIA
● Ability to interpret and advise based on WCAG 2.0 AA standards.
● Experience in working with Accessibility tools for major browsers - Firefox, IE, Chrome, Safari for desktop, Mac & touch devices.
● Experience setting-up and configuring test tools and assistive devices for testing, such as JAWS and NVDA
● Working exposure with AXE, WAT, Chromevox, Androvox, WAVE, AChecker, Google Accessibility Scanner.
● Must have experience in Functionality, Compatibility, Usability, Regression, Sanity, Smoke and System Testing.
● Good understanding of Agile methodology & Testing Process/methodologies is necessary.
● Dynamic and fast learner. Should be able to work with minimal guidance.
● Knowledge of on continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Git, Stampede etc.
● Experienced working in an onshore/offshore environment with flexible and adaptable working style to work with aggressive project schedules
Nice to have:
● Certified IAAP Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS)
● Familiarity with Accessibility Management Platform (AMP)
● Experience in healthcare domain similar domains where data sensitivity is high
ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Understand accessibility specific business & functional requirements, convert them to test plan and test cases.
● Execution of accessibility test in different browsers and mobile application platforms (iOS & Android)
● The Accessibility Scrum Tester will work with Scrum development and Quality Services to find critical and high priority accessibility defects
● Collaborate with engineers to identify, document, and triage bugs.
● Work with other teams to manage exceptions and deliver for the overall commitment to the client
● Preparation of test reports/ test coverage metrics/ defect summary report
