Job Description:

1. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
2. Develop functional and appealing web- and mobile-based applications based on usability
3. Create cascading style sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platforms
4. Working with product development, UX teams and designers to develop architectural requirements to ensure satisfaction with the product
5. Familiarity with Responsive and Adaptive designs
6. Develop and test across. multiple browsers, platforms, and devices, including smartphones and tablets
7. Solid understanding of full web technology stack such as page load optimization, HTTP, cookies, asset loading, CDN, etc

Responsibilities:

1. An effective Front-end Architect establishes a technical vision with the development team and works with developers to turn it into reality
2. Implement and enforce engineering best practices using modern standards and patterns
3. Review unit test plans, tests, and code coverage to ensure high quality delivery
4. Implement engineering excellence by enforcing regular code reviews, continuous integration, high test code coverage, on-going code refactoring and adequate documentation
5. Come up with innovative technology focused ideas
6. Involvement with internal and external community initiatives
7. Lead on team driven development approach
8. Provide thought leadership to the team around new approaches and workflows and technologies
9. Provide thought leadership to the business around innovative technology lead solutions
10. Management of project lifecycles from business development to final delivery

Skills:

1. Strong working experience in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript & JQuery
2. Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
3. Working knowledge of Version Control System like Git or similar VCS
4. Good knowledge of Frontend build tools such as Gulp
5. Architect solutions, establish best practices and introduce/implement new technologies
6. Proven experience in troubleshooting, investigated and solved UI performance issues
7. Need to have experience in task estimation along with risk identification
8. Deep understanding of Web Performance and Web Accessibility
9. Knowledge of industry standard software best practices, development lifecycle processes and Agile and SCRUM methodologies
